What can I do to
help?
The Beit HaMikdash,
the Holy Temple, was destroyed 1933 years ago . How can we bring closer the
time that the Mikdash will once again be standing in
its place, an inspiration for the whole world?
The most important thing that we can do is change the
conditions that led to the destruction.
- Study
the Torah
- Fulfill
the Commandments
- Gentiles
accept the seven commandments of the children of Noah. Children of Noah
- Daven (Pray) - Only to the One G-d, who is the G-d of Israel
- not to any intermediaries.
- Support
Israel
in its struggle against its enemies round about.
- Participate
in our activities
No gifts are accepted as Hekdesh or dedications for the Temple. All gifts are to be given for the
organization, and when the time is right, we will dedicate the things to the Temple as necessary.
Special
Projects:
Stones for the Mizbeach (Altar) Altar Stones project
Permanent Home for the Mercaz Har HaBayith (Temple Mount
Center):
Right now we are in small, rented
quarters. We could accomplish more and have a more assured future for
our work if we had our own building. Anyone who wishes to help with this is
urged to contact us by e mail. Mercaz Har HaBayith
Mikveh:
The Mikveh in
the Jewish Quarter is only open for limited hours. It closes at 8:30 every
morning. Part of our
task is urging people who are entering the Temple Mount
to immerse in the Mikveh first. If the Mikveh is
closed, the task is harder. Often people who want to visit the Temple Mount
can not do so because the
Mikveh is closed.
We would like to build a new Mikveh
or renovate one of the Mikvaot which is currently
closed altogeter or
is currently deficient. Anyone who wishes to help with this is urged to contact
us by e mail. Mercaz Har
HaBayith
Equipment:
Audio-visual and computer equipment is
needed to enhance our ability to bring our message to the people.
Anyone who wishes to help with this is urged to contact us by e mail. Mercaz Har HaBayith
Ongoing Projects:
March Around the Gates: March Around the Gates
The marches can be bigger and more effective
with more publicity and more busses to bring people.
Lectures:
We would like to increase our ability to
bring lectures to the people by sending speakers to outlying
settlements and cities.
Keep the doors open:
To maintain our current level of
services, we need $1,500 per month. Right now, only about 25%
of that comes in from donations and sales of educational materials.
Ways to help financially:
No gifts are accepted as Hekdesh
or dedications for the Temple.
All gifts are to be given for
the organization, and when the time is right, we will dedicate the things to
the Temple as
necessary.
